Chris Hunt - Trombone Chris Gale - Sax Dafydd Hughes - Keyboards Big Lots, a Toronto-based modern jazz quintet, was formed in the fall
of 2004. A creative showase for the writing/arranging talents of all
five members, Big Lots tries to stretch the definition of modern jazz,
and blur the musical lines between pop, jazz, and free improvisation. A
limited edition EP featuring all original compositions by the band
members was released in the fall of 2005. |
