Buddy Aquilina

Buddy Aquilina‘s (Clarinet) musical career spans four decades as a performer, composer, arranger and educator. In New York at age 14 and through his formative years based in the Boston area and educated at Berklee, Buddy worked and played throughout the NorthEastern U.S., later settling in Southern Ontario where he now resides. His abilities as an arranger/composer have brought him requests to write for such notables as Lionel Hampton and Stan Getz and his arrangements have been featured on TV and film. He has also performed as a guest artist with Jimmy and Marian MePartland and Dizzie Gillespie among others, and he continues to teach woodwinds, music theory and arranging. As a performer and bandleader, Buddy has led groups varrying from 2 to 22 pieces, performing in concert hall, on radio shows, TV, and major nightclubs in the U.S. and Canada. The Buddy Aquilina Group is his most recent combo.
