Clark Johnston has been playing Bass since 1984. He studied Jazz at McGill University in Montreal from 1990 to 1994 and since then has studied with the legendary teachers Jim Blackly and Charlie Banacos. Clark moved to Toronto in 1994 where he found himself working with some of the best musicians around; Mike Murley, Reg Schwager and Lorne Lofsky are just to name a few. While currently residing in Hamilton, ON he is working with Mike Malone, Chris Gale, Laila Biali as well as many other great musicians. Clark’s commitment to obtaining a Big Fat Tone and a Solid Groove really comes through in his playing. He helps to lay down a good foundation for the Buddy Aquilina Quintet.
