Emily Steinwall in an emerging tenor saxophone player, flautist and bandleader based in Toronto, Canada.

She has a deep respect and connection to the jazz tradition while still maintaining a fresh approach to improvising and composing. Emily performs frequently in Toronto as a leader with her group Bloom, and as a side-musician with a number of diverse groups including: Mason Victoria’s Sonuskapos Jazz Orchestra, Tom Upjohn’s We Are All, and the Funny Funk Band. She has been touring internationally with world-renowned, Grammy-nominated recording artist Alessia Cara.
