Jake Wilkinson is an award-winning trumpeter, pianist, vocalist, composer, lyricist,
producer, teacher, recording engineer, and arranger. Jake began his professional
musical career in 1991. Since that time he has composed hundreds of original works and
arrangements, produced 6 CD’s of original material, and performed all over the world.
He has played with The Boss Brass, The Toronto Jazz Quartet, The Powder Blues Band,
Long John Baldry, Grant Stewart, Mark Eisenman, Don Thompson, Bernie Senensky,
Archie Alleyne, Perry White, John Hicks, and Bob Mover. Currently, Jake is a
member of, Raoul and The Bigger Time, The Dave Murphy Band, The Andrew Scott
Group, The Richard Whiteman Quintet, while continuing to lead his own Quartet,
Quintet, and Nonet. In the Spring of 2019 Jake completed his masters in composition
and is currently in his third year as a PhD candidate at York University.
