Vaughan Misener bio:
Vaughan Misener plays Electric Bass and writes music. He has done so in Boston, New York, Europe, Israel and Canada. Vaughan Misener went to Berklee College of Music where he studied with Bruce Gertz and studied privately in NYC with Jeff Andrews. Vaughan has worked with some of the finest musicians of our time including Pat Labarbera, Kirk MacDonald, Robert Bonisolo, Bob McLaren, Geoff Young, Vito Rezza, Robi Botos, Gene Calderazzo, Lorne Lofsky, Johnathan Blake and Mike Stern. Vaughan Misener teaches at Humber College in Toronto, Canada (humbermusic.ca) and has given clinics at Humber, Mohawk College and York University. In an article for Toronto Life, Stuart Broomer wrote “Electric bassist Vaughan Misener is an intense and skillful player, subtly directing a band with pulsing lines that can suddenly explode in fresh directions”.
