Paul Ashwell left his native Winnipeg in 1985 to attend the Humber College Music Program in Toronto. Over the next 15 years he became involved in every facet of the Toronto music scene, from jazz to classical and everything in between. He has appeared on over twenty five recordings as a trombonist, composer, arranger, conductor and producer. During the coming year he will be touring across Canada and performing in almost every major city with local musicians, performing his own compositions and arrangements. ‘A lot of planning is going into the tour, but what a fantastic way to renew musical friendships with the many great Canadian musicians I’ve had the honor and priviledge to work with during my twenty-five year career.’
