E3 by Alex Lakusta is a new trio from the Toronto bass player. The band will be releasing “Transmit Slow”, a debut record of original compositions. The album pushes the tradition of jazz music through the use of modern sounds and electric instruments similar to that of hip-hop, pop, and electronic music.

Originally from Alberta, Alex Lakusta is a bassist, composer, and arranger now residing in Toronto.

He has performed with esteemed musicians such as David Restivo, Steve Haines, Kevin Dean, Ralph Alessi, Elio Villafranca, Arturo Stable, Jeff Antoniuk, among others.

Alex is also is a touring member of Canadian alt-pop band VISSIA.
