Over the past 20 years, Doctor Nick and the Rollercoasters have performed countless gigs at the venerable Rex Hotel and elsewhere. Their Blues is rooted in the early electric post-war period of Chicago's south side of the 1950's, where Blues luminaries such as Muddy Waters, Jimmy Rogers, Little Walter and others honed their craft to produce a sound which is at the root of most of the contemporary music that we hear today.

Doctor Nick fronts the band singing and laying down the fat sax-like tone of the amplified harmonica that is so emblematic of that era. Juno award winning Julian Fauth also graces the stage on piano and vocals. On guitar, the talented Darren Gallen digs into some deep Blues grooves and is supported by the stellar rhythm section of Bob Vespaziani on drums and James Thompson on acoustic bass.

The Rollercoasters play the Blues in the only way they know how: with passion, sincerity and respect.
