Montreal-born electric bassist Marc Decho has established himself as an incredibly versatile and creative artist. Along with being a highly in demand electric bass player in Canada, Marc is additionally a composer, bandleader and educator. He has recorded one album as a leader, and appears as a sideman on a plethora of recordings ranging from Jazz, Fusion, Latin Jazz to Funk to traditional Cuban, Salsa & Folk music. Decho is longstanding member of the legendary Cuban pianist "Miguel De Armas Quartet" and has performed with a wide variety of artists such as Jane Bunnett, Grammy winning bassist/producer Roberto Riveron, Latin-Grammy Winning percussionist Amado Dedeu Garcia, Petr Cancura, Rachel Therrien, Okan, George Crotty, Jeremy Ledbetter, Luis Deniz, Sarah Thawer, Marito Marques, Danae Olano, Rafael Zaldivar, Gabriel Palatchi among many others. He leads multiple groups including his most recent project the Marc Decho Quartet.
