OVK 3 - the classic format of piano, bass and drums trio. Manuel Valera, Roberto Occhipinti and Mark Kelso have performed together in a number of projects and came together to record in Toronto at RHC studio November of 2023. 7 originals by Manuel Valera , 1 by Roberto Occhipinti and the classic Soul Eyes by Mal Waldron, all recorded live off the floor , beautifully recorded by Jeff Wolpert and produced by Roberto Occhipinti for Modica Music . Release date is April 21, in tandem with performances at the Rex Jazz and Blues Club in Toronto.
