Juno award winner, multi-platinum artist, author and educator, Paul DeLong’s work spans many genres of music encompassing funk, Afro-Cuban, rock and jazz. A member of Canada’s music royalty and considered one of North America’s top drummers, Paul DeLong’s many successes during his lengthy career have coalesced into his passion project, jazz-fusion band Paul DeLong’s ONE WORD.

Well-known for his work with legendary artists such as Kim Mitchell, Domenic Troiano, Lawrence Gowan (Styx), David Clayton-Thomas (Blood, Sweat and Tears), Roger Hodgson (Supertramp), Tom Scott (L.A. Express) and David Blamires (Pat Metheny). These and many other artists have requested his expertise behind the traps for live performance, TV and studio work. DeLong’s innate skill with diverse types of drumming, combined with his knowledge and instinctual understanding of rhythm along with his musicality, place him in high demand.
