Transit
Osgoode Station, part of our city’s great subway system, is a two minute walk east on Queen Street. If you’re a night owl, or just want to head to Chinatown for some late night eats, the 501/301 Queen Streetcar runs 24 hours.
Taxis are easy to find on Queen Street as well. Alternatively, we can call one of the many cab companies that operate in downtown Toronto. During the summer you might even be able to get a rickshaw!
Walking
There are so many of Toronto’s best tourist attractions within walking distance from our hotel that you might not even need the TTC or a taxi!
Within two minutes from your hotel room you can walk to Osgoode Station, the US General Consulate Toronto, and the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts where the Canadian Opera Company performs.
A five minute walk will take you to destinations such as the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO), Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD), Toronto Eaton Centre Shopping Mall, Momofuko, Toronto Old City Hall, Nathan Phillips Square, and more!
Ten minutes of walking and you’ll find premier entertainment attractions like the Princess of Wales Theatre, Royal Alexandra Theatre, Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) Lightbox, Roy Thomson Hall… and that’s just the beginning!
A fifteen minute walk might make you thirsty, so stop by the Steam Whistle Brewery (the first glass is complimentary!). Other great sightseeing opportunities within 15 minutes of your hotel room are Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, Metro Toronto Convention Centre, C.N. Tower, Roger’s Centre (Skydome), and many more.
Twenty minutes of walking and you’ll find yourself in Kensington Market, an oasis of everything interesting from food, to clothing, to the infamous planter car. Right next to Kensington is one of North America’s largest Chinatowns – noodles, dumplings, dim sum, almost anything you want! Other destinations for locals and tourists alike include the Hockey Hall of Fame, Union Station, the Distillery District, Air Canada Centre (ACC), and so much more!
